Ch’io possa ancora
inseguire le aquile
su ramoscelli spogli d’ego.
Torpide anime,
ingrassate di falsità
perdono le giunture d’amicizia
nel falso loro essere.
Perdo ogni riflesso
su anime vuote
nel dominare le loro vite.
Ho giurato che la miglior amica
che mi protegge
è ella solitudine,
compagnia leale
attenta che porge le sue ali
al mio cospetto cuore.
Non imbosca tranelli,
non ti lascia cadere in burroni,
premurosa amante
scalda il mio cuore
nelle notti fredde.
Solo lei, si solo lei,
io possa dar fiducia,
solo lei è premurosa
e attenta al mio incedere,
coprendo buche
là dove il mio sguardo non cade,
porgendomi tappeti
nel scavalcare asperità di terreni incolti,
come incolto è l’anima di un’amica.
Ma quale sia la vera amicizia
che con premura
ti prende sottobraccio
e ti salva da una caduta.
Che sia una caduta vera
oppure psicologica,
una vera amica non si sottrae
nel salvarti l’anima
e se mai cade insieme a te.

SOLITUDE
May I still
chasing eagles
on twigs devoid of ego.
Torpid souls,
grow fat with falsehood
they lose the friendship joints
in their false being.
I lose all reflection
on empty souls
in dominating their lives.
I swore that the best friend
that protects me
it is loneliness,
loyal company
beware that it spreads its wings
in front of my heart.
She does not set traps,
she doesn’t let you fall into ravines,
caring lover
warm my heart
on cold nights.
Only her, yes only her,
I can trust,
only she is caring
and she pays attention to my pace,
covering holes
where my gaze does not fall,
handing me rugs
in climbing over the roughness of uncultivated land,
as uncultivated is the soul of a friend.
But what true friendship is
than with care
takes you by the arm
and saves you from a fall.
Let it be a real fall
or psychological,
a true friend does not shy away
in saving your soul
and she if she ever she falls with you.
